UKFCU Annual Meeting and Election Notice
The UKFCU Annual Meeting for 2024 will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 5:00 PM at the UKFCU Corporate Headquarters located at 1730 Alysheba Way, Lexington, KY 40509. Please note that all UKFCU branches will close at 4 PM to allow all staff to attend the meeting.
2025 Board Nominees
Each year we elect members to the Board of Directors. As directed by the Credit Union's By-Laws, the Governance Committee has fulfilled its charge by nominating a candidate for each upcoming vacancy. The 2025 Board Nominees are:
Tyler Gayheart
Tyler Gayheart was appointed to the Supervisory Audit Committee in 2014, joined the Board in 2016, and became Chairperson of the Board in 2020. Tyler is currently the Executive Director of Enterprise Salesforce Operations and Digital Engagement at the University of Kentucky. He and his team are responsible for enterprise CRM and digital marketing products throughout the Enrollment, Student Success, Health & Wellness, and Philanthropy & Alumni areas. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, a Masters in Instructional Systems Design, and a Ph.D. in Communication, all from the University of Kentucky.
Angie Lang
Angie Lang joined the UKFCU Board of Directors in 2017. She has lived in Lexington for 30 years. Her work experience has been in healthcare, focusing on hospital operations, patient experience, marketing, and public relations. Currently, Angie is the Chief Administrative Officer at Good Samaritan Hospital. Angie’s healthcare experience is diverse, expanding to rehabilitation, community, and academic medical center environments. Prior to her work in healthcare, Angie began her career at a local advertising agency. She received her BA and MA in Business Administration from the UK Gatton College of Business and Economics.
Vikki Parman
Vikki Parman joined the Board of Directors in 2019, having been a member of the Supervisory Audit Committee since 2013. She has worked at KCTCS since January of 1999, and is currently the Assistant Vice President of Business Services/ COO. Vikki earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Kentucky.
Nomination by Petition
Pursuant to the Credit Union’s By-Laws, members may be nominated for vacancies on the Board of Directors by petition. The petition must be signed by at least 500 members of the Credit Union. The submitted petition must be accompanied by a statement of the nominee’s qualifications and a signed certificate from the nominee stating that he or she is agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected. There will be no nominations taken from the floor when the number of nominees equals the number of positions to be filled.
