SUMMARY: University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union (UKFCU or Sponsor) will award one (1) winner of the Financial Literacy Month Sweepstakes $500 (the “Prize”) to be directly deposited into their Prime Share (the “Prize”) as selected by Sponsor and based on eligible entries.

ELIGIBILITY: The “Financial Literacy Month Sweepstakes” begins on April 1, 2025 at 12:00 AM ET and ends on April 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET. The “Financial Literacy Month Sweepstakes” is open to all individuals 18 years of age and older residing in the United States. UKFCU employees and their immediate families are excluded from winning the sweepstakes.

TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A member may enter to win by (1) posting a photo of themselves with ‘Whiskers’ cutout at any UKFCU Branch on Facebook or Instagram; and (2) by tagging the photo with #savewithUKFCU; and (3) making the photo publicly available for viewing on their profile so that it can be found in our search for winners at the end of the sweepstakes.

PRIZE DRAWING: One winner will be chosen from all eligible entries on May 5, 2025 at 12:00 PM. Odds of winning are variable and dependent upon the total number of entries during the promotional period.

PRIZES: One (1) prize will be awarded for the “Financial Literacy Month Sweepstakes” consisting of $500 that will be directly deposited into the winner’s UKFCU Prime Share account. Prize will be awarded "AS IS." Sponsor makes no offer of and expressly disclaims to the maximum extent permitted by law any warranty or guarantee, either express or implied (including, without limitation, quality, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose) in connection with this Sweepstakes or any prizes. No manufacturer or representative of any offered prize is associated with or sponsoring the Sweepstakes. Federal, state, or local taxes on prizes, if any, and any other costs, fees, or expenses not listed above are the sole responsibility of each winner. Please see a tax advisor for details.

NOTIFICATION: Winner will be notified via their social media profile and platform. The winner will be required to provide UKFCU their name and a copy of a government issued ID to confirm identity for the prize transfer to the winner’s UKFCU account. If randomly selected winner does not respond to UKFCU attempts to contact winner within 48 hours, the winner will be disqualified. UKFCU will then randomly select another eligible participant from all remaining and eligible entries. The winner will be required to sign an acceptance and release (including a publicity release) agreement prepared by UKFCU as a condition to the award of the Prize.

PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winner's consent to the Sponsor’s use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes in any media without further compensation or notice. Participant agrees to collaborate and allow UKFCU to publicize photos of selected winner and their name in any marketing UKFCU chooses.

EXCLUSIONS: UK Federal Credit Union Employees and immediate family are not eligible for entry. Immediate family is defined as parents, siblings, spouse and children.

NO LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION: The contest is subject to all applicable and federal, state and local laws and regulations. Sponsor, and Sponsor Affiliates, are not responsible for and entrants release each from any failures of any kind in this Sweepstake. Entrants further release and agree to indemnify Sponsor, and Sponsor Affiliates, from all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever alleged to arise from injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property in connection with this Sweepstakes including, but not limited to: (a) the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded; (b) any travel or prize-related activity; (c) any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or any other materials disseminated by Sponsor; and (d) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers, or providers used by an entrant, Sponsor, or Sponsor Affiliates.

OTHER TERMS: Decisions of Sponsor on all matters related to the Sweepstakes are final. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes for any reason. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify or prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation or with any provision in these Official Rules.
